Youth Counselling

Support for youth navigating emotional challenges, identity development, and life transitions.

Youth counselling offers support during times of growth, change, and emotional challenge. Young people may be navigating anxiety, stress, school pressures, relationship dynamics, or shifts in identity and independence.

At The Nest, we offer youth counselling that is relational, respectful, and paced with care, creating space for young people to feel heard and supported.

Counselling is offered in person in Nanaimo and virtually across British Columbia.

Common Reasons to seek Youth Counselling

Youth counselling may be supportive if you’re navigating:

  • Anxiety, stress, or emotional overwhelm

  • School attendance or academic pressure

  • Identity development or self-esteem concerns

  • Family or peer relationship challenges

  • Mood changes or withdrawal

  • Life transitions or adjustment difficulties

Our Approach to Youth Counselling

Our work is relational and trauma-informed, shaped collaboratively rather than by a set formula. We pay attention to how experiences show up in thoughts, emotions, the body, and relationships.

Sessions move at a pace that feels respectful of your capacity and needs. You don’t need to know which approach is right for you. We’ll explore that together.
