School Attendance
Challenges with school attendance can be stressful for children, youth, and families. When attending school feels overwhelming or unsafe, it often reflects underlying emotional, relational, or nervous system stress rather than a lack of motivation or effort.
Counselling can be supportive when school attendance concerns begin to affect emotional well-being, family life, or a young person’s sense of confidence and safety.
At The Nest, we offer counselling that is calm, relational, and attentive to lived experience.
Counselling is offered in person in Nanaimo and virtually across British Columbia.
